ECO-BIOTRICKLING is a system based on a vertical scrubber biological reactor provided with a light plastic media. The microorganisms develop over this media and remove the pollutants present in the gaseous current during their metabolic process.

The plastic media can easily be washed and, unlike other media types, it does not have to be replaced.

The efficiencies reached in this type of processes are equal or higher than traditional chemical scrubbers, and the range of pollutants absorbed is wider. Since chemical reactive are necessary in very little quantities (or no necessary at all for odor removal applications), the running costs are minimal, and the process does not generate toxic effluents that require treatment.

DESULPHURIZATION

This technology is specifically designed for the elimination of reduced sulphur compounds inherent to the biogas destined to cogeneration.

Advantages

· High H2S removal efficiency
· Low reactive consumption
· Low running costs. Short term investment return
· No waste generated in the process
· Viable for high pollutant concentration ranges, where conventional systems are dismissed because of their running costs

ODOR REMOVAL IN WWTP

This system for odour and VOC removal replaces traditional processes such as chemical scrubbers or activated carbon filters, thus achieving higher pollutant removal efficiencies.

Advantages

· Efficiency increase
· No reactive required
· Low running costs. Short term return of the investment
· It is possible to retrain existing chemical scrubbers into a biotrickling system
· This systems can deal with high pollutant loads
