Most elements of FINNCHAIN scraper systems are composed of light, resistant plastic pieces, and the parts subject to a maximum mechanical requirement are made of stainless steel. They are all non-corrosive materials.

Thanks, among others, to patented FINNCHAIN’s elements (overload protector and linked chain), scraper systems wear drops down dramatically during the operation, extending their lifespan and minimizing equipment’s maintenance.

Main scarper types:

Type A: Chain scraper which combines surface scum scraping with bottom sludge scraping.

Type B: 3 Pulley system for bottom sludge scraping.

Type C: Collector chains run on bottom of the tank around 2 groups of pulleys. Typical system in lamella settlers.

Type D: Surface scum scraper.

Type G: Combined system for double deck settlers, with superposed scrapers, usually type A or B.
