ECOTEC strengthens drinking water treatment in Algeria with lamella supply for the Bouira and Koudiet plants
ECOTEC has recently completed a new supply of lamella clarification systems for two drinking water treatment plants in Algeria, located in Bouira and Koudiet.
This project further consolidates the company’s presence in the country, where ECOTEC now reaches a total of six lamella installations: Corso, Béjaïa, Cap Djinet, El Tarf, and now Bouira and Koudiet.

Commissioning activities and technical testing are currently underway, ensuring that both facilities will reinforce Algeria’s national drinking water supply in a context of increasing water scarcity.
The contribution of ECOTEC enhances the pretreatment and clarification stage, a key process to optimize downstream performance and guarantee the quality of the treated water.
