ECOTEC Completes Strategic Supply for Desalination Plants in Algeria
ECOTEC has successfully completed a strategic international project, supplying equipment for three new desalination plants in Algeria: El Tarf, Béjaïa, and Cap Djinet.
The scope of supply included a turnkey solution for 44 lamella clarification tanks (8 x 26 x 4.7 m), showcasing ECOTEC’s technical and logistical capabilities in complex international environments.
Supplied Equipment:
- 8,906 m³ of TS.50 PPTV tubSed lamella, WRAS-certified for drinking water
- GRP support structures with Super Duplex metal components, resistant to saline environments
- 44 Finnchain scrapers for sludge removal
- 264 Thompson overflow channels (400x400x26000 mm), also in GRP with Super Duplex metal parts
Commitment to Quality and Deadlines
Despite tight delivery schedules, ECOTEC delivered all equipment in under one year while maintaining the highest standards of quality and certification. Materials included WRAS-certified components, Super Duplex metal parts, and C5-M finishes for durability in marine environments.

These new projects follow a similar installation in the country previously carried out by us at the Corso SWRO, further reinforcing the company’s continuity and reliability in the region.
