ECOTEC has successfully supplied 49,712 m³ of tubSed® TS.85 lamella for the world’s largest water treatment plant, located in Cairo, Egypt, with a daily treatment capacity of 7.5 million m³. The lamella package was installed in the primary settlers, comprised of 60 tanks, each with dimensions of 11 x 48 meters and a lamella height of 1.6 meters.
The tube settler’s system was specifically designed and recommended by ECOTEC's engineering department, achieving technical and economic optimization for the client compared to the initially proposed solution for the project.
This project presented significant challenges, particularly in meeting a record production timeline, as the materials had to be delivered in less than a year while adhering to strict quality standards.
With this delivery, ECOTEC has once again reaffirmed its position as a global leader in the supply of lamella systems for solids settling, showcasing its ability to provide high-quality technical solutions on large-scale projects.
